From tiny to huge
What does a plant cell actually look like? With the Microscope 250 Explorer Set by SCIENCE CAN, kids aged 8 years and older explore the world. With the portable microscope, they discover the smallest things and structures in the world anytime and anywhere and gain their first experiences in the world of science.
Children become microbiologists and experience exciting biology lessons at home. They discover tiny organisms and see things that remain hidden to the naked eye. With the microscope, kids dive into the world of cells, bacteria and tiny organisms and find out what their structures look like.
Children place their prepared objects on empty slides, which are included in the set, and observe them very closely under the microscope. The included manual provides them with the first experiments. The set also encourages children to become active by themselves.
Research compact
The microscope comes with a small laboratory station that is equipped with the most important things for little explorers and is easy to transport. Tweezers, shovel, specimen collector and empty slides, kids can not only observe tiny organisms in nature, but also take specimens and examine them in detail right afterwards.
The microscope is perfectly suited for children's hands and is easy to carry in a trouser pocket. This way, kids take a close look at everything they see on their way. The microscope is compatible with the smartphone thanks to the holder included in the set.
With the smartphone camera, children easily take photos of their magnified examination objects and then examine them thoroughly or show them to their friends or parents. They simply attach the holder to their smartphone, place the microscope in front of the lens and off they go!
Sophisticated technology
Thanks to cool dual-light mode and the built-in microscope lens, pin-sharp magnification of objects up to 250x is possible. The microscope can be moved up and down on a bracket to find the optimal setting for each individual object of examination.
Due to its compact size, the microscope is also a perfect companion when travelling. In addition to the portable microscope, the set also includes a microscope stand with laboratory equipment. For a full view with epi- and transillumination, simply insert batteries.
Developing through play
